About me

Memento Mori Atelier is the ceramic and jewelry brand created by Laure, a French-Italian ceramic artist based in Bologna, Italy.

With a background in architecture and urban planning, studied and practiced in Paris, Laure brings a strong sense of structure, space and material research into her artistic practice. She discovered ceramics over ten years ago and trained for five years in Paris before pursuing a professional course in Faenza, one of Italy’s most important centers for ceramic art.

After completing her studies, she settled in Bologna, where she now develops her studio practice and collections.

The atelier works primarily with white stoneware and porcelain, creating handcrafted objects that combine functionality, symbolism and sculptural presence.
Deeply inspired by medieval art, gothic imagery, and themes such as Memento Mori and Danse Macabre, her work explores the beauty of impermanence through refined, contemporary forms.

Her universe blends dark romantic aesthetics, craftsmanship and storytelling, offering timeless objects designed for everyday rituals and meaningful spaces.
